Trusting God One Step at a Time

~2 min read

Today's Question

What is one next step of trust God is inviting you to take? Who could walk with you and remind you of His goodness when your faith feels small?

Reflection

Angela compared our faith journey to martial arts. Earning a black belt requires showing up, practicing, falling, and getting back up again. She said that mistakes are not the final word. They can become a first attempt in learning. I love that picture because trusting God through grief is often less about one great moment of confidence and more about returning to Him each day.

In our recent conversation on the podcast, Angela encouraged us to stay in God's Word, pray throughout the day, choose what shapes our minds, and remain connected to other believers. These practices don't make grief disappear. They help us remember that we don't have to carry it alone.

My friend, God's goodness and mercy are still pursuing you. You may not understand this season, and you may not feel strong today. But you can take the next step with the God of all comfort. Ask Him to help your unbelief, and trust that He will meet you there.
