There are some verses I wish weren't in the Bible.
This is one of them.
If I'm honest, there are seasons where I want to look at God and say, "I need more than grace."
I want healing. I want answers. I want Him to fix what is hurting.
The older I get, the more I realize I misunderstood what grace really was. I think I saw it as something God gave me instead of realizing it was His presence with me. His strength. Himself.
I still pray for healing. I still believe He can. But I've also seen Him do some of His deepest work in the waiting. I've seen Him strengthen people who should have fallen apart. I've seen Him bring peace into impossible situations and joy into unimaginable pain. I've seen faith grow because the miracle didn't come when we expected it to.
I'm still wrestle with this verse, if I'm being honest, and maybe I always will. But I'm starting to understand why Paul could write those words.
It just so happens that in tomorrow's podcast, we're talking about this! Not because we have all the answers, but because we think many us have asked the same question.
Why won't God heal me? ❤️
