Keep Walking One Surrendered Step

~2 min read

Today's Question

What is one small step of trust God is placing in front of you today?

Reflection

At the end of our podcast conversation, Stephanie said she does not share her story as someone who has arrived. She is still walking with God in real time. Her cancer journey, cardiac arrest, recovery, fatigue, pain, and memory loss have all become part of a testimony that continues to unfold.

I love that honesty, my friend. Faith is not pretending we have no questions. It is choosing to keep walking while we have questions. It is trusting God's character when we cannot yet see the outcome.

Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (NIV). God goes before you into the day ahead. He is not asking you to take every step at once. He is inviting you to walk with Him, one surrendered step at a time.

Perspectives Into Practice

Perspectives Into Practice — Write this sentence somewhere you will see it: "I can trust who God is, even when I do not understand what He is doing." Under it, name one practical step for today: make the appointment, ask for support, take the needed rest, pray honestly, or celebrate the progress already made.

Then listen to the full episode of Perspectives into Practice with Stephanie and share it with someone walking through delayed healing or uncertainty. Your encouragement may help another friend remember that God is present in the process.
