Trust the God Who Provides

~2 min read

Today's Question

What would change if you believed that God’s provision does not depend on your ability to force the next step? How can you carry that trust into the week ahead?

Reflection

I love how Carolyn’s story brings us back to the character of God. Her time at the dealership connected her with people who needed compassion. Her faithfulness opened doors to the convention. At that convention, God connected her with new friends, media opportunities, and a book award she never could have arranged on her own.

Here’s the thing: the yes, but not quite season is not proof that God has forgotten you. It may be the place where He is preparing you, positioning you, and connecting you with people who will be part of what comes next. You may be waiting for a door while God is building the relationships, character, and confidence you will need when it opens.

Zechariah 4:6 reminds us that God’s work is accomplished not by human might or power, but by His Spirit. So we can walk forward without carrying the pressure to make everything happen. If He is calling you, He will lead you. If He confirms the direction, He will provide what is needed.

Perspectives Into Practice

Perspectives Into Practice — Create a simple “God has been faithful” list. Write down three ways He has provided, redirected, or sustained you in the past. Read the list whenever anxiety tells you that you must make the future happen today.

Then share one part of your story with a trusted friend. Your testimony may encourage someone else who is living in a yes, but not quite season. When you are ready, listen to the full Perspectives into Practice episode and reflect on what God may be doing in your waiting.
