There isn't a hidden subscription. The Story Haven is operated by Grace Unworthy Ministries as a faith community product. Email verification and moderation help us keep the culture safe.

Create an account on the web or in the app, then enter the 6-digit code we email you. Your account is created only after that code is confirmed. A member's referral link is optional and attributes your signup to them.

A personal referral link attributes new signups to the member who shared it. An invite email is a direct signup link — outstanding invites still work, and members can still send them when they're available.

Yes. Share your personal referral link anytime — it works even when email invites are paused — or send email invites when they're available. Welcoming others can earn recognition badges.

Both. Women gather in women's rooms and men gather in men's rooms — parallel spaces with the same purpose. Shared rooms like The Commons are open to everyone. Men's rooms open November 1st.

You may occasionally see cards that promote features and services inside The Story Haven. Members do not pay to belong, and we do not sell your stories to advertisers.

Grace Unworthy Ministries operates The Story Haven. Jessica DeYoung — founder of Made Whole and host of Perspectives Into Practice — is the public face and founding voice of the community.

The Haven is organized into purpose-built spaces instead of one endless feed. Parallel rooms for women and men: The Living Room / The Lodge, Morning Bread / Reveille, God Winks / Trail Markers, Prayer Corner / The War Room, Campfire Stories / The Tailgate, The Hearth / The Forge — plus The Commons for everyone. Each room has a clear kind of sharing so you know where you belong.

No. The daily devotional (Morning Bread or Reveille) is one Scripture, one reflection, and one question — optional, with no homework. Share when you want; read quietly when you need to.

Prayer Corner or The War Room is where you bring requests and celebrate answered prayers. Members can mark that they're praying with you. It's peer faith support — not counseling or crisis care.

You can share photos, video, voice notes (with auto-transcription for readers), links, and attach up to five Bible verses per post. Drafts let you save and finish later.

Yes. A built-in player lets you listen to Perspectives Into Practice (and other enrolled shows) without leaving The Story Haven.

Yes. Prayer circles and groups are available for smaller gatherings. Approved storytellers can also host a community for their church, podcast, or ministry — public or private.

The Hearth or The Forge are members-only rooms for deeper connection and resources. They appear as members-only until you qualify — they are not a separate paid product.

No. Many members read, pray, and encourage before they share. You're welcome to participate at your own pace.

No. The Haven is a private, email-verified community organized into purpose-built rooms, centered on Scripture and prayer, and supported by community guidelines, reporting, block/mute tools, and human moderation — not an open social feed.

Members from many church backgrounds belong here. The shared center is Jesus and Scripture — not a single denominational label.

Early joiners receive a Founding Member badge. Other badges recognize welcoming others and participation in community life.

Yes — if you are a storyteller (church leader, podcaster, blogger, author, speaker, writer, or YouTuber). Apply on the Storytellers page. After approval you can create a free community with the privacy settings you choose.

Create a free account, then apply at /storytellers. We review each application. Approval grants community-creation rights — it is not automatic.

Not yet. Your storyteller community is free today. Paid rooms, paid groups, and courses are coming later — mark interest on the application if you want to hear when they open.

Content is shared within the member community according to the room or group you post in. You control profile visibility, DM settings, and who can tag you. See our Safety page and community policies for details.

Members must be at least 13. Ages 13–17 require parental permission as described in our community policies.
